Michael Jang is the Managing Director and co-founder of Calpe Group. Mr. Jang concentrates in Special Situations and Value-Added transactions, as well as being responsible for the firm’s strategic positioning for organic growth. He has led the origination, structuring and realization of multiple lower-to-middle market company and commercial real estate investments that included collaborating with management teams to develop and execute short-term value-creation strategies. Previously, Mr. Jang was Vice President of Capital Markets for Government Securities Corporation, as well as working with the treasury/investment department of First Heights Bank, FSB and the equity strategy department of Oppenheimer & Co.
Mr. Jang studied finance at the University of Texas.
